HipHopCanada presents: #letsREbuild in support of Calgary flood relief [News]

Calgary, ABHipHopCanada has teamed up with our friends at 10 at 10 Hip-Hop Showcase, Twotowers Entertainment, Ill Movements, Netcandi.com, One Entertainment, Dubsac, Pulse Studios, TheGroove.ca, and Paper Crown to bring you #letsREbuild charity fundraiser in support of Calgary’s flood relief efforts. “Let’s REbuild was derived from local hip-hop event 10 at 10’s mantra, Let’s Build. From its inception, this slogan has been used to inspire the growth of the hip-hop community in Calgary,” explains Beni Johnson, local hip-hop promoter and 10 at 10 organizer.

“This term can have many applications, however, the choice to use ‘REbuild’ for this fundraiser emphasizes the fact that Calgary is already a strong community and with the help of willing people we can rebuild the lost homes and facilities that were affected by the unprecedented flooding in Southern Alberta.” [More]
