Madchild’s “It Gets Better” wins second straight SONiC Spin Off [News]

Vancouver, BC – Hip-hop and pop went head-to-head again today on the SONiC Spin Off as DJ Trouble put “It Gets Better” (featuring Sophia Danai) by Madchild up against “What About Love” by Texas pop singer Austin Mahone. And it has just been announced that Madchild has taken the win for the second night in a row – and he killed it in the process: “Your winner by an absolute landslide.

The SONiC Spin Off gives SONiC Nation members the chance to pick songs that could be the next biggest hit. Resident DJ Trouble takes song suggestions from listeners, picks 2 songs and pits them against each other. They take votes and play the winning song. The champion goes on to the next night. After 5 wins a song goes to the SONiC Spin Off Wall of Fame. Tune in at Chilliwack 107.5FM, Abbotsford 92.5FM, Vancouver 104.9FM.

Make sure you tune in tomorrow night to help get “It Gets Better” on the Wall of Fame! “It Gets Better” will be featured on Madchild’s new Lawn Mower Man project set for release August 6, 2013.
