Where It’s At Entertainment Rap Boat Cruise [Review]

Vancouver, BC – The night before Canada Day, Chelsie Grobins of Where It’s At Entertainment threw yet another one of her floating rap shows on the water.. Yes, another boat party!

Originally slated to have over twenty five performers, some of the acts couldn’t make it, but nonetheless there was a constant rotation of artists rockin’ the party with any brief downtime filled in by DJ Kaycee and DJ X- Rated. The performances took place on the upstairs but below DJ RRkade was spinning non-stop to keep the dance party bumpin’… and it was bumpin. Meanwhile on the deck, the performances started poppin’ off quickly. Act after act hit the stage/deck keepin’ the party live. Stand-outs of the night were KV, Status Crew and Dead Alive amongst others. Headliner Kanabliss Tha Supaspliff wasn’t on board although there were numerous sightings of the veteran Vancouver rapper before the boat took off. So, one Van veteran didn’t end up making it but another was spotted navigating his way through the packed party, Swollen Member’s Prevail was in attendance soaking up the vibe.

All in all it was a successful night. The party was hype, the acts were good, no one jumped ship nor walked the plank, and most surprisingly no fights broke out. There will be more boat party’s to come by Where It’s At Entertainment so keep your eyes peeled and get in line for the next one.

Music and public relations are her true passions and although she didn't inherit the talent of her musician father she makes her mark on the industry through other avenues. By night you can catch KassKills at almost every Vancity hip-hop show, shaking hands and snapping photos while covering and supporting the local music scene. On top of that she works closely with one of the cities most reputable concert promotors, Timbre Concerts. Kass is a hustler by nature and works hard to play a key role Vancity's hip-hop scene. Over the years she has seen, photographed and interviewed many of hip-hop's top artists such as T.I, Raekwon, Sheek Louch, Noreaga, Black Milk, Waka Flocka, Ab-Soul & Dizaster.
