Calgary, AB – On Aug. 10, Common performed at Calgary’s Afrikadey! Festival. The annual festival celebrates African culture and heritage. So it was only fitting that our favourite adopted local MC (he spends a lot of time in Calgary filming Hell on Wheels) headlined the day’s festivities.

Common hit the stage at Prince’s Island Park just before 9 p.m. and performed to a congregation of local hip-hop heads. Check out these awesome photos that HipHopCanada‘s Stefan Lewis shot of the show.
