Shad announces Flying Colours release date; new tour dates [News]

London, ONShad has announced that his next studio album, Flying Colours, will be available as of October 15. A full tour in support of the album is in the works but dates have already been revealed for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

So far we’ve seen the video for the first tune circulating from the release. “Stylin,” featuring Toronto legend Saukrates, was released a few days back with production by Skratch Bastid. You can click here to check out the video on HipHopCanada, or click here to download “Stylin” on iTunes.

Currently, Shad is getting ready for a few more dates with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, including August 7 in Calgary (Big Four Building) and August 8 in Edmonton (Shaw Conference Centre).

“I’m proud to join Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for a couple more shows this week in Saskatoon, Calgary, and Edmonton. Missing them in your town is such a bad idea, by the way… they bring a beautiful show. I’ll be co-hosting the 2013 Polaris Music Prize with talented singer-songwriter, Kathleen Edwards, on Sept 23. Tune in to hear our near-perfect Tegan and Sara impression.”
