Shawn Chrystopher – The Grindin’ Interlude [Video]

Inglewood, CA – Fresh off the release of The Lovestory LP album, Shawn Chrystopher just dropped some dope new visuals for the track, “The Grindin’ Interlude.” It’s very appropriate, because the 27-year-old California MC stays on his grind, nonstop. So he’s entitled to toot his own horn for a bit.

“The Grindin’ Interlude” showcases Chrystopher’s abilities as a rapper, as well as a producer. After working under the wing of the legendary Timbaland (who executive produced the The Lovestory LP), Chrystopher has established his own sound. It’s spacey. It’s a little grungy. And it will make you want to grind. Check it out after the jump.

The video was co-directed by Christian Padron and features footage from Chrystopher’s performance at the ESPN X-Games in Los Angeles. And remember: Chrystopher plans to visit us northern hip-hop heads later on this year. He should probably get here, pronto.
