Joey Bada$$ and Statik Selektah come to Calgary [Contest]

Calgary, AB – On Sept. 12 (this upcoming Thursday), our friends over at True Rhythm bring Joey Bada$$ and Statik Selektah to Calgary for — not one, but — two shows. The first show is an all-ages gig at the Alibi Room (5403 Crowchild Tr. NW) with opening performances by Obey the Crooks, Dirty Harry, Myriad, and more. Afterwards, Joey and Statik head over to Republik Nightclub (219 17 Ave. SW) for a later show with opening performances by Dragon Fli Empire, Avious, and more. So if you’re a huge Joey fan, you can hit up both shows and double-up on the experience.

And to sweeten the deal, HipHopCanada has teamed up with True Rhythm for a ticket giveaway. Check out the contest entry details and peep the official show flyer after the jump.

We have one ticket to giveaway for each show. You know the drill: Hit us up on Twitter at @HipHopCanada and @TrueRhythmCA with the hashtag #JoeyinYYC to enter. We’ll announce both of the winners on Tuesday. And if you don’t want to take your chances, head over to the True Rhythm website to purchase your tickets (they cost $40 each). But you can also get your paws on a $70 V.I.P. pack (while they last) that includes a private meet-and-greet with Joey and Statik. Don’t sleep on it. Tickets are selling out in short order.
