Midwest Mindset – Like Us ft. Moka Only [Video]

Red Deer, AB – Red Deer’s Midwest Mindset crew teamed up with Moka Only for these dope new visuals for “Like Us.” Midwest Mindset is composed of five artists: two MCs (Danny Epic and Travis Omen), a bass player (Berkley Roth), a keyboardist (Jerry Buote), and a drummer (Jordy Stellar). They have some killer melodic instrumentals, and none of their instrumentals are pre-recorded. That’s rare, these days. And bringing Moka on board for a feature was a stellar decision. As soon as Moka starts shaking his braids around, it’s time to vibe out.

The video is set on the railroad tracks. It’s one of those, “Don’t try this at home,” kind of deals. The Mindset guys make railroad jamming look really neat. But don’t start throwing down cyphers on the train tracks, please. It’s potentially very dangerous. The video was directed by Ronnie Rabena of Storm Shock Productions, and the track was mixed and mastered by James Humberstone. Give it a peep after the jump.
