Politic Live – NYE [Video]

Edmonton, AB – Edmonton’s Politic Live crew recently launched new visuals for “NYE” off their Ellipsis project. Politic Live received a Summer Music Video Fund 2013 grant through Public Records. So the guys teamed up with filmmaker, Jimmy Bustos, to bring us this video. The visuals follow Politic Live out into the YEG as they celebrate their album’s launch.

There’s no tailgating here, though. “NYE” is such a jazzy little kick-back track. It demands a party of a more refined calibre. So the guys keep things proper with classy-looking beverages, electronic fireplaces, posh sofas, and chic women. There’s even a guy doing an art demonstration at the party loft. This is how celebrations were meant to go down. Check it out after the jump.

Politic Live also just received a nomination for the inaugural Black Gold Awards of Alberta under the performance category of “Rapper/Poet.” They’ll be hitting up Calgary on Sept. 27 for the awards ceremony. So show them some YEG love by casting your vote.
