A.Y.E. – Dream [Audio]

Calgary, AB – Calgary’s own A.Y.E. recently dropped a dope new track titled “Dream.” The track commemorates the 50th anniversary of the legendary Martin Luther King Jr. dream speech
. The track laces A.Y.E.’s tight rhymes over mellow instrumentals and samplings of the speech.

A.Y.E. gives a nod to history’s great leaders (including Malcolm X and Gandhi). He also pays homage to some of hip-hop’s great leaders with a little Nas-worthy “world is yours” line, as well as a salute to Biggie’s “Sky’s The Limit.” And here’s the kicker: A.Y.E. wrote the lyrics for “Dream” and handled all of the production, too. Impressive, right? Check it out below and head over to SoundCloud to cop a free download.
