Halfcut – Hot 16s Vol. 10 [Video]

Calgary, AB – Remember how videographer Levente Kovacs (of LK Visuals), started up a Hot 16 series with a bunch of Calgary MCs? Well, he just teamed up with Halfcut (who pulls double duty as one half of the Humble Giants duo), to drop a dope new video. Hot 16s are condensed verses that consist of 16 bars. MCs pick their favorite part of a beat and write their own verses. For this Hot 16,  Halfcut took the Spaghetti Western remix of “Mr. Jolly Lives Next Door” by The Prunes, and made it his own.

So make sure you keep it locked. Halfcut is working on releasing a new mixtape and the Humble Giants are working towards the release of their first project. Big things happening, here. But until then, peep the video below.

And make sure you hit up the LK Visuals website to see more of Kovacs’ work. If you’re interested in having Kovacs direct your Hot 16, hit him up sooner (rather than later).
