Joell Ortiz (Slaughterhouse) at Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver [Photos]

Vancouver, BCJoell Ortiz made his way across Central Canada on his YAOWA Tour finally stopping at Vancouver’s Fortune Sound this past weekend and our West Coast team was in the joint to check it out. Sponsored by HipHopCanada the show kicked off with openers ILL Legitimate, Ghost and Robbie G who threw down for an intimate crowd before the Brooklyn MC took the stage for the main event. Dropping Slaughterhouse cuts and solo favorites, Ortiz even paid a lengthy tribute to the late Biggie and Tupac. Encouraging the crowd to fill in the blanks of throw-back Slaughterhouse cuts, Ortiz also dropped freestyles like it was no thing keeping the crowd engaged, sipping on a sugar-free Redbull. Joell Ortiz brought that real NY hip-hop vibe to the West coast – check out a couple flicks below.
