Maxwell Benson – Spacestrunoght ft. Paperboy Prince Of The Suburbs [Video]

Los Angeles, CA – Winnipeg producer Maxwell Benson just dropped visuals for his third single, “Spacestrunoght” off Dawn Of A New Day. This track features spacey vibe-out production (courtesy of Benson), laced with verses from Maryland-based MC, Paperboy Prince Of The Suburbs.

In case you haven’t been following along with Benson’s antics, he’s been releasing his visuals as a series of animated hip-hop episodes. It’s Sunday morning cartoons, hopped up on boom-rap and old-school vibes. Check it out below.

So here’s the breakdown of Benson’s video releases: In the first episode (“Sadat X Is Back”) Maxwell and Sadat X take on the clone rappers of the industry. In the second episode (“Don’t Test The Kid”) Maxwell gets on board with Que Billah to further purge the industry of clone rappers. But this video lightens things up a bit. Maxwell books a hot gig for Paperboy Prince Of The Suburbs out on the planet Pluto. The two of them roll around the galaxy while Paperboy verses about space. Watch for cartoon guest-appearances by Zenon, George Jetson, Marvin the Martian, and more. There are also a handful of Space Jam references (that film where Michael Jordan gets down with the Looney Tunes to take on evil aliens from space), which is awesome.

Make sure you head over to iTunes to purchase a copy of Dawn Of A New Day. And hit up Maxwell on his newly acquired Twitter account to stay in the know.
