About Mike Wallz

Mike Wallz is an emerging hip hop artist, radio personality, video director and budding actor from Silver Spring, Maryland, looking to make his presence felt in both the music and entertainment industry. Mike has not had the typical rise to eminence, but his path and various experiences molded his music and the overall message behind his movement, “The Free Life.”

Mike has always had an affinity for music, and he was classically trained in all brass instruments while in grade school. His love for music and hip-hop grew throughout the years, as he participated in various bands and ensembles, as well as his own Go-Go band, USB. In high school, he started the hip-hop trio “Primary Element” with Stephen and Stanley Spottswood, and they took the world by storm. The group saw a lot of success, as their four studio-quality albums were huge hits with their fans. The trio capitalized off of their musical prowess and produced and recorded all of their music in-house, as well as created their own retro flare and conscious message. The group still works together and will likely be releasing more content in the future.

The second stage of Mike’s career began at Penn State University, where he was a part-time musician, full-time student, and full-time member of the varsity football team. He generated a lot of buzz as an artist while still with Primary Element. His persistence and drive to get his music to the masses eventually lead to the rise of his prominence on campus. While at Penn State, Mike got the chance to perform with the legendary MC Lyte, Mac Miller and Big Sean. His latest success was the release his debut solo EP, “The Free Life.”

“The Free Life” is a masterful musical demonstration of all of Mike’s ideologies on life, relationships and opportunities, and has served as a strong springboard for his solo career. Now the leader of a rising social movement, Mike’s inspiration comes from sharing great music with the world while also spreading the word of self-betterment, living life to the fullest, and making the most of every day. With all that he has accomplished, this is only the beginning for Mike Wallz. Look forward to seeing bigger and better things to come in the future.
