Pleuto – #skeletun [Album]

Calgary, AB – After making us wait all summer (and then some), Pleuto has finally dropped his debut #skeletun album. Okay, it was definitely worth the wait. Because the album is called #skeletun. And it was Halloween yesterday. And skeletons are commonly associated with Halloween. So it worked.

Pleuto has a distinctive spacey sound, and a skill-set to match. He sings. He writes. And he produces. This album combines a dash of trap-rap, with Pleuto’s vibed-out home-cooked beats, as well as several sweet tracks produced by Makemdef. The 15-track project also includes collaborations with local rappers New’L and Doughmeo. Cop the project via BandCamp. It’s pay-what-you-can. So be a good homie and pay what you can, please. You can also stream the album after the jump.

And if you’re looking for something fun to do in Calgary tonight, Pleuto is throwing his album release party at Brandy Leigh’s (233 – 10 St. N.W.). It all goes down at 9 p.m. DJ Yung Nino will be on the decks, and there will be live performances by Pleuto and New’L.

Word on the street is that there’s going to be some pretty tasty grub up for grabs, too (Jamaican patties, anyone?). And if you’re itching to get a hard copy of the project, Pleuto just announced that he will have limited supplies on-hand. See you there.
