Cellar Door – Make War, Not Love [Audio]

Calgary, AB – Calgary’s recently formed Cellar Door duo just dropped a new track entitled “Make War, Not Love” off their forthcoming Cellar Door EP. The Cellar Door duo consists of Twizzie (of the ContraVerse crew) and vocalist Shelby Leiding. Their sound combines hip-hop and R&B with ’50s classical influence, which results in a fresh cross-genre mashup. Shelby’s vocals have this eerie haunting quality to them. And Twizzie (who’s come up in the battle scene) never fails to deliver the punches.

The track was produced by Epik Da Dawn, and mix-mastered by Twizzie. And get this: the track’s bridge uses lyrics from the song “Virgin Dirt” by the post-hardcore group, letlive., from California. So give “Make War, Not Love,” a listen below. And keep it locked on the release of the Cellar Door EP. It’s coming at you soon.
