Come down to 10 at 10 Vol. 27 in Calgary tonight [News]

Calgary, AB – Our friends over at 10 at 10 are delivering the goods tonight at Commonwealth Bar & Stage (731 – 10 Ave SW). That’s right: it’s time for Calgary’s favourite monthly hip-hop showcase. Ten performers hit the stage, starting at 10 p.m. They each get 10 minutes to perform a set. Performers include a mix of MCs, singers, and producers. And –as always– your hosts for the evening will be Beni J and RS Poe. Some of tonight’s performers include Dion Lynch, J. Thaddeus, Enigma, and more.

And because the holidays are coming up, 10 at 10 is doing a winter clothing drive for Jacket Racket. So get your give-on and bring down any new or used outerwear, mittens, hats, or scarves to donate to those who are less fortunate. Doors open at 9 p.m. Cover is $10.

And just in case you missed the memo—HipHopCanada runs a monthly 10 at 10 spotlight feature on one performer from the evening’s roster. So keep it locked. We’ll be in the building. And if you’re interested in getting on the bill for 10 at 10 in the near future, make sure you hit up the fam at 10at10showcase@gmail.com.
