Calgary, AB – While you’re all getting ready for the holiday season, the fam over at Hifi Club is getting ready to bring in one solid month of hip-hop DJs. That’s right – Hifi Club is delivering the goods for us YYC hip-hop heads. We already told you that Lee Bannon is rolling through this weekend. But now, we’re happy to announce that on Dec. 19, James “DJ Green Lantern” D’Agostino is also coming to town.

And because we like to deliver the goods for you, too, we’re giving away two tickets to the show. Check out contest entry details after the jump.

You may know Green Lantern as the mastermind behind the likes of the great Jay Z, Nas, and Eminem. That is, he’s been the touring DJ for all three heavyweights. More recently, Green Lantern has extended his reach into the EDM scene and has scored some sweet cosigns with Bro Safari, Skrillex, and more. So this is one show you won’t want to miss. Opening support for the evening will be provided by your very own Ivan Rankic, along with Smalltown DJs. Doors open at 9 p.m.

To enter to win those tickets, get at us on Twitter at @HipHopCanada and @hificlub with the tag #DJGreenLanternYYC. We’ll announce the winner on Dec. 17 (this upcoming Tuesday) at 5 p.m. MST. But if you don’t want to wait that long, you can cop your tickets online via Zoobis, as well as at Grassroots (112 – 10 St NW), Group Seven (1,510 – 6 St SW), or Sloth Records (736 – 17 Ave SW).
