Jaydahmann – Back In Business (Pound Cake Remix) [Video]

Toronto, ON – Lucky for hip-hop fans craving a taste of that OVO sound, Jaydahmann’s latest video for “Back In Business (Pound Cake Remix)” hit the web only days ago. For those not in the know, Jaydahmann is a well-seasoned, Toronto-based MC who has been making bangers (and a name for himself) on the streets of the screw face capital for quite some time.

Returning from a more than a year of absence with this contemplative and yet undeniably ferocious track, “Back In Business” builds on the now famous beat of Drake and Jay-Z’s “Pound Cake” featured on Nothing Was the Same. Check it out below.

The video shows Jaydahmann playing an elegant game of pool accompanied by a mysterious woman in white. He takes almost no time to reconnect with his loyal fan-base of Toronto hip-hop lovers by spitting lines like: “I came from the class of 08’/ Real type spittas/ No man was half baked.” One of the dopest things about this comeback anthem is that Jaydahmann wastes no time inundating new and old listeners with the literal ins-and-outs of Toronto’s rapidly evolving hip-hop landscape.

Like taking a walk down a lyrical memory lane, Jaydahmann’s “Back In Business (Pound Cake Remix)” proves that even though this rapper was gone, he definitely wasn’t sleeping.
