True Rhythm presents: Kool Keith and Snowgoons in Calgary [News]

Calgary, AB – On Feb. 3, our friends over at True Rhythm bring Kool Keith and Snowgoons to Dickens Pub (1000 – 9 Ave SW) in Calgary for a sweet night of underground hip-hop. You may know Kool Keith as one of the wildest dudes around (just check out his steez via Google image search and prepare to have your mind blown). He was one of the founding members of the Ultramagnetic MCs. He also lays claim to being the founder of horrorcore.

The Snowgoons are a production crew from Germany. Members Det Gunner, DJ Illegal, Sicknature and J.S. Kuster make use of some pretty dope samplings on their tracks. They’ve made their rounds in the underground scene and have worked with artists from the likes of AOTP, Boot Camp Click, La Coka Nostra and more. In fact, it was recently announced that Onyx’s forthcoming #WAKEDAFUCUP project will be produced in entirety by the Snowgoons. Peep all of the concert details after the jump.

So come on down and get your fill of underground while showing love to one of Calgary’s up-and-comers. Tour support for the evening will be provided by ka.lil and Mic Flont, and local support will be provided by Suicide Kings, Grimehouse, and F-Bomb & Sin-Sane.

Early bird tickets are $20 and advance tickets are $25. VIP meet-and-greet packages are also available for $50. You can cop tickets online here. And check out the official event Facebook page for more information.
