Brandon Taylor – Settle Down ft. Kimbra (Prod. Jon Kilmer) [Audio]

Calgary, AB – Calgary’s own 18-year old Brandon Taylor just dropped a sweet new viber on us entitled “Settle Down.” Taylor took a dope beat produced by Jon Kilmer (featuring samplings of “Settle Down” by Kimbra), and dropped some verses over it. And the result is a track that is pure easy-listening. Just kick back, settle down, and turn the speakers up.

So check out the track below. And if you’re liking what you’re hearing, head over to DatPiff to cop a download of Taylor’s debut 16 Bars & Running mixtape.

And by the way – you’re probably more familiar with Kimbra than you think you are. She was featured on that ridiculous “Somebody That I Used To Know” joint by Gotye that the Internet exploded over a few years ago. Unfortunatly, by comparison to Gotye, Kimbra got unnecessarily slept on. She’s such a stellar vocalist. So the fact that Taylor decided to use a beat sampling her vocals got me a little bit giddy.
