Business As Usual – Plenty Money [Video]

Kitchener, ON – The Buiness As Usual duo (Tyma and Maximillian) recently dropped new visuals for their track “Plenty Money.” I can’t tell if DAU is making fun of all those dudes who verse about making excessive bank; or if they actually are those dudes rhyming about making excessive bank.

Either way, Tyma and Maximillian are hilarious. They’re not just tossing around bills and making it rain. They’re shoving Benjamins in the glove compartment of their BMW, and finding innovative ways to flaunt their stacks of papers. This is golden. The video was directed by Brandon Jason Frank (for Apex Films), and the track was produced by Maximillian. Check it out below.

And if there’s one word that summarizes these visuals, it’s: do-rag. BAU brings back the do-rag and it’s the best thing ever. Because do-rags disappeared a while ago. And rap cats seem to have forgotten about the mastery that is an untied do-rag. So this makes my heart sing. If you’re feeling it, head over to iTunes to cop a download of the single. You know, for when you want to stand around in your tiny closet-of-an-apartment, and throw some bills around and pretend you’re a boss, or something. You will feel empowered. Trust.

And just in case you didn’t know it: Tyma and Maximillian are brothers. And they were born exactly two years apart, in the lovely land of Kitchener, Ontario. So they’re not twins, or anything. But admittedly they’re a pretty tight team. Because of their deeply-rooted bro-bond, they’ve been able to grow together and solidify a sound that is distinctly Business As Usual. They’ve been involved in the scene for nearly a decade now.

Word on the street is that the BAU team is looking to link up with some other artists for collaborations. So hit them up at for more details.
