Down With Webster: “Feel So Alive” live in CBC Music Studio 211 [Video]
Toronto, ON – Down With Webster recently spent some time kicking it over at CBC Music Studio 211 in Toronto. The heavyweight Canadian rap-rock band recently released their Party For Your Life album. And it kind of blew up the Internet. Seriously. Kids were skipping school to cop that album. It was insane. But what’s more, CBC recently announced that they’d commissioned DWW to write a song to play during the network’s coverage of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. And the DWW dudes came out with this new joint entitled “Feel So Alive.”
Peep the performance of “Feel So Alive” below, and check out performances of “One In A Million,” “Going Nowhere,” and “Chills” (all of which can be found on Party For Your Life) after the jump. And make sure you keep up with all things CBC Music over at music.cbc.ca.
So on that note, make sure you take a moment to appreciate all the love that CBC has shown our Canadian hip-hop community, lately. Maestro Fresh Wes and Classified’s “Reach For The Sky (Gold Medal Mix)” was given the designation of CBC’s official Olympic anthem. And now DWW is getting some solid shine for this dope new track. Solid representation, right there.
And while we’re on the subject of all things DWW, you’re probably getting familiar with DWW’s own Camm Hunter. He’s the group’s rapper. And he recently started putting out some solo work (with a little less rock, and a little more rap). HipHopCanada recently featured Hunter’s “Well Now” as our song of the day. And we received such positive feedback on that track that we did something we rarely do: we gave “Well Now” a second run as our song of the day.
