Elcee – For My City [Audio]

Toronto, ON – It’s Sunday, again. It’s not just any Sunday, though. It’s Super Bowl Sunday. That, and #SoundCloudSunday. You may recall that last weekend, Elcee (affiliated with the Virginia Beach-based JetPacks crew) released “Thought You Knew” as the first installation of his weekly music release series.

Well Elcee’s bringing it again this weekend with a new track entitled “For My City.” The track was produced by Nick Rio. Check it out below.

LaShawn “Elcee” Powell was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. But he grew up in and currently lives in Toronto. It’s always interesting to see which cities artists like to lay claim to. Usually it’s their respective hometowns. But the T-Dot has been good to Elcee, and he’s evidently more than happy to rep it as his city. So stand up, Toronto. And keep it locked on next week’s #SoundCloudSunday drop.
