Regina, SK – Regina’s own DJ-turned-rapper, Robin Trill, just released a remake of Playa G’s 1996 release entitled “Drink a Yak.” Trill linked up with Memphis-based Project Pat and got his longtime childhood friend, Suede, in on the production.

They created a suave, smoothed-out 2014 take on the track. It slows down, and Suede trips out into the production. So it becomes one of those vibe-out joints. With sexy undertones. Like, I feel if I drank a Yak (as instructed), I could acquire sex appeal, or something. And just so you know, Trill is also gearing up to launch his debut RobbnSpree mixtape. So keep your ear to the ground on that one. Check out “Drink a Yak” below.
