Calgary, AB – Tomorrow night, Vol. 29 of 10 at 10 Hip-Hop Showcase goes down at Commonwealth Bar & Stage (731 – 10 Ave SW). And our 10 at 10 fam has a stellar line-up in store for us: Race Bannon, Dirty Harry, Meeko, Chief Navaho, Yung Dre, Cardinal Coke, Dollaz D, Vysol, Pre, and Meeghan Noelle. And as always, your hosts for the evening are RS Poe and Beni J. DJ Rico and DJ GrimRock will be on deck throughout the night.

Doors open at 9 p.m. and performances start at 10 p.m. But if you make it to the venue before 10 p.m., you don’t need to pay the $10 cover charge. Does this mean you get a dope free local hip-hop show? Yes. Yes it does.

HipHopCanada will be in the building tomorrow night. And we’ll be on the lookout for our monthly 10 at 10 spotlight artist. Every month we pick one of our favourite performers, chop it up with them, and give them a featured posting on the site. Why do we do this? Because Calgary’s hip-hop scene is on the come-up. And we love everything that 10 at 10 is doing for the scene. If you missed last month’s spotlight, we caught up with T-Bear and had a pretty deep heart-to-heart.

And if you’ve been sleeping on the recently released 10 at 10 mixtape, now would be a great time to give it a peep and hype yourself up for tomorrow night’s performances. Also make sure you keep up with all things 10 at 10 on Facebook and Twitter, as well as their sweet new website. And check out this article that HipHopCanada’s own Amalia Judith penned for FFWD on the 10 at 10 fam.
