Buck N’ Nice – The One ft. City Fidelia [Audio]

Ottawa, ON – The Buck N’ Nice duo (MC SawBuck and DJ So Nice) just dropped some dope new tuneage on us for their collaboration track with City Fidelia entitled “The One.” Contrary to this joint’s title, it’s not a love song – by any means. It’s actually a brilliant wordplay track. Because the hook is all like, “I’m the one between the six and three.” As in, the area code 613 (aka: Ottawa). So they’re laying claim to being the ones to put Ottawa on the map. City-repping game: on point.

This track is the second single off the upcoming Buck N’ Nice project, Us Versus Them, which is scheduled for release this spring. So while you count down the days to that release, cop a free download of “The One” over here.

Young Kidd – You Aint Gotta Ask [Video] -

But seriously. Catch a listen to some of those lines. Like when SawBuck is versing about being underground while other cats are waiting for the ferries so that they can “mainstream.” Because ferries ride on streams, and stuff. But he’s also calling out the general direction that he sees the rap-game taking: mainstream. These dudes are hungry. And they’re starting beef with their fellow rap-cats. But they’re fighting with their words.

So let’s get into the bromance story, here; the bromance story that led to City Fidelia getting in on this joint. SawBack and So Nice have known City Fidelia from the scene for a while. They eventually linked up at a Jadakiss concert and collaboration discussions happened. Collaboration discussion turned into collaboration work. And now they’re all planning on building together. More collaborations are expected to happen. So keep it locked on that.
