Dragon Fli Empire – Train Of Thought [Video]

Calgary, AB – It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Dragon Fli Empire. And by a minute, I mean it’s been more than a month. I was getting antsy. The Calgary-based duo (rapper Teekay and producer DJ Cosm) spent February touring Europe for their promotional Mission Statement European Tour. They just got back home to the YYC and launched some new visuals for “Train Of Thought” off Mission Statement.

The video was shot during the tour, with additional footage by DJ Suspect, DJ Stinoe, and others. Think of this as the DFE-equivalent of a postcard. They take us through their travels abroad in Paris, Poitiers, Strasbourg, Chambéry, Lyon, Brussels, Kassel, Cologne and Berlin. And all the while, we get to groove out to a string of versing that is Teekay’s own introspective “Train Of Thought.” The track’s beat is courtesy of AJV (for Double Agent Media), and cuts were done by DJ Cosm. Check it out below. And check out Mission Statement over here.
