Mobolaji – Voyage [Video]

Toronto, ON – Remember last month when I kind of lost my ish over that “Voyage” joint by Mobolaji? Well, the up-and-coming T-Dot MC also launched some visuals to go with the track. It’s a no-frills video, shot in black-and-white (directed by Omar Leslie and edited by Jordan Oram). The track was produced by Eeema Odesanya. Check it out below.

Mobolaji – Voyage [Video] -

Although the video is simple, it doesn’t actually need any special effects or fancy pantsy artistic cinematography. Because Mobolaji is a man with presence. So I don’t mind watching him walk around and throw down verses for three minutes.

He raps with the best facial expressions, and hands flailing everywhere – there’s just so going on when the dude starts spitting. So much to watch. He doesn’t need video girls, or anything like that. At the end of the video he flips off the camera and peaces out. Possibly embarking on said “Voyage.”
