Redman receives custom kicks from Le Rock and True Rhythm in Calgary [News]

Calgary, AB – On Mar. 24, Redman rolled through Calgary to perform a show at Dickens Pub. And while he was in town, our friends over at True Rhythm linked it up with Ish Mahoon from 17th Avenue’s Le Rock streetwear store to gift Redman with a dope pair of custom sneakers.

Those are chucks, to be specific; chucks with Redman’s face on them. They are the freshest pair of kicks we’ve seen in a while. Check it out.

Le Rock are all sorts of good people. They stock the illest street wear in town, they sell tickets for the True Rhythm shows, and they’re one of Calgary’s biggest hip-hop scene supporters. They even closed down shop for a day back in 2013 so HipHopCanada could sit down in the store and interview Joey Bada$$ (while Bada$$ was treated to some fancy pantsy Le Rock sponsored shopping). Remember that? It was great.

So if you find yourself in Calgary, make sure you head over to Le Rock (329 – 17 Ave SW), or get at them on Facebook.
