Smoke DZA performance announced for Iron Mic Music Fest [News]

Edmonton, AB – Iron Mic Music Fest has just announced that Smoke DZA will be joining Machine Gun Kelly, Ghostface Killah, and Action Bronson at the Iron Mic Music Fest in Edmonton on Apr. 19. Our friends at Pearl Entertainment linked it up with the good people at Nightshift, Mez Muzik, Dubsac, Jakmove, Diamond Kings Entertainment, and IPartySask to bring our growing hip-hop community a new festival that will serve as Western Canada’s biggest indoor hip-hop music festival.

It all goes down at the Edmonton Expo Centre next month with a killer roster with something for every head. So far we’ve got the laced up king of alti-hip-hop (MGK), one of the most legendary OGs around (Ghostface Killah), one of the hungriest (literally) MCs around (Bronson), and –now – one of the freshest rising MCs on the scene who’s collaborated with everyone and their grandmas (Smoke DZA). Okay, not the grandmas. But dude’s linked it up with a lot of people lately.

The final headliner will be announced tomorrow at 10 a.m. And we’ll have all the details for you here on HHC. (Spoiler alert: it’s an artist who hasn’t been to Edmonton, yet). And just so you know, pre-sale tickets went on-sale this morning. So you should probably go buy some while they’re still available. You have until 10 p.m. tonight to get in on the pre-sale pricing. If you purchase them today, you’ll save yourself $10 off of the regular public ticket sale price. That’s right: instead of paying $65, you can cop them for a sweet $55. But that’s only until 10 p.m. tonight. Just enter the password (iron1) at the checkout.

Public ticket sale begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. First price level tickets are $65, and second price level tickets are $75. There will be 300 V.I.P. admission tickets available ($150) that include express entry, access to stage centre licensed area, a festival t-shirt, and a festival necklace.

You can also pick up your tickets at one of the licensed ticket vendors in Edmonton, including Foosh, Quantum Leaf Jasper Ave, FS, and ROZ Urban Wear. Calgary and Saskatoon ticket outlets will be announced soon. For more information, head over to the event’s official Facebook page.

About Iron Mic Music Fest

Iron Mic is the first of its kind for Western Canada – an indoor multi-headliner hip hop festival offered to all ages. It wasn’t smooth sailing to make this festival happen but with the enormous support of our hip hop community and our loyal partners, we are pleased to bring you this unique event.

Iron Mic: a ductile, malleable, silver-white metallic element and a conductor for lightning. Lightning is the energy the Mic sends off. It’s the control over the crowd, the mystical power which hypnotizes its audience giving the holder of the Mic immortal-like powers – lightning strikes the Mic for he who holds the Mic!

The Mic is both symbolic and literal. Life’s many obstacles will keep you from the Iron Mic. Once you overcome and conquer these obstacles, you will be the holder of the Mic and its infinite powers.

Community – Stay tuned as we are close to determining a local charity we will be donating portions of proceeds for in efforts to giveback and help our community.
