Sythe – Sythe [Album]

Vancouver, BC – The name Sythe has been synonymous with the gritty yet elaborate beat-craft that defines the ILL-Legitimate sound. His hard work and tireless pursuit of the symbiosis of harmony and rhythm have been cultivated over the last decade.

Although he is well known for his mastery of the music behind the lyrics, his contributions as an emcee cannot go unnoticed as his unique style and vocals are matched only by the depth of his content.

First heard on “Beatsmartz” from the Anonymity album in 2006 which he also produced, his verbal prowess was also displayed on Matt Brevners’ Magnum Opus in 2009. He’d then go on to show off both his rapping ability and beat making talents extensively on more than 9 albums in the following 4 years.

After so many collaborations and features, finally, the man himself will take center stage in the form of his debut solo album. 12 songs influenced by his love of hip-hop and highlighted by the myriad faces of rock and roll, maintaining the continuity and consistency of his previous work to truly cement his musical brand.

Check out the project’s first video, “Burn Down,” after the jump.
