Tonight: T-Pain live at Encore WEM in Edmonton [News]

Edmonton, AB – The good people over at Pearl Entertainment have teamed up with Hot 107 and Virgin Radio to bring king auto-tune, himself – T-Pain - to Encore at West Edmonton Mall. And it’s all going down tonight. And you know what that means, right? It means that basically every club song that you’ve ever popped-it-off to is going to be performed – live.

Opening support for the evening will be provided by Dizzy, Evrlove, KBH Ent, Kozikoz, Liberty, Mitchell Lawler & Conch, Muta Mouraine, and Toxsic. Gamegirl will be DJing throughout the evening. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45, and available for purchase online, as well as at Foosh, Quantum Leaf, The Occulist, and FS Skate.

Somewhat unrelated, but totally relevant to share with you all: A while back, mobile app-developer Smule created an “I Am T-Pain” app that lets you autotune-style your own voice using the same iZotope pitch-correction that T-Pain uses. So you can sing along to songs in T-Pain voice. And make YouTube videos in T-Pain voice. And embody everything about T-Pain. And it’s hilarious.
