Toronto vet Dan-e-o stars in new movie, Tapped [News]
Toronto, ON – Veteran Toronto MC, Dan-e-o (Monolith / Perfeck Strangers) has announced that he’s starring in a new MMA-based movie, TAPPED. The film focuses on a disgruntled teenager, sent to do community service at a rundown Karate school where he enters an MMA tournament to face the man that killed his parents.
Tapped opens in theaters in Brazil on May 16, 2014 and arrives on DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), Digital HD, Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View from Lionsgate Home Entertainment in North America on May 27.
Directed by Allan Ungar and starring Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, The Rock), Cody Hackman, Martin Kove and UFC stars Anderson Silva, Krzysztof Soszynski and Lyoto Machida, Tapped also stars Daniel Faraldo (aka Canadian hip-hop veteran Dan-e-o) as MMA promoter, Lou Burnett.
