DillanPonders – Selling Dreams ft. SeT [Video]

Toronto, ONDillanPonders (of SmashMouth Entertainment) just dropped his latest visuals for “Selling Dreams” off of the NUMB EP. DillanPonders is a trip and a half. And this joint gets pretty gnarly.

I mean, we know that DP isn’t sober on this, and we know he’s just shooting the ish with us. But that’s what hits it home. Because – like Dillan – we’re all caving to vices that we don’t intend to get rid of. The drugs are a metaphor, guys. The selling of dreams is real. The track was produced by Tay Lewis, and the video was directed by Dresblog. Check it out.

So here’s how it all goes down: DP chugs a bottle of booze. It takes him 10 seconds. And then the verses just flow from his mouth (Don’t try this at home, kids). Then Dillan saunters through the streets with his posse and drops his bars. He raps in front of 7-11 a lot. And then two minutes into it all, SeT whips out his verse. And he’s wearing a purple scarf. And it looks mighty cozy.

Just throwing this out there: Drizzy could totally buy DillanPonders’ dreams. Because Drake had that “Dreams Money Can Buy” joint. And we never really found out who the link-up was that was selling said dreams to Drake. So DillanPonders is selling dreams. Drake’s in the market for some dreams. I have just solved a serious rap game dilemma. Jus’ saying.

Noisey premiered the video today, and caught up with the homie Dillan for an exclusive interview. They talked about drinking and DP’s lack of sobriety, and how Dillan doesn’t do MDMA anymore. You can peep that over here.
