The Names Are Known – Get Up [Audio]

Toronto, ONThe Names Are Known (dj NaNa and MC i.james.jones) recently hit us up with some audio for a joint called “Get Up” off the Toronto-based duo’s recent J(N)AMES mixtape release. This track features some sweet production, courtesy of Blaz. It’s a groover of a beat. And when the bars get going, it’s all just smooth chill vibes from there, onwards. Well, sort of.

See, this whole “Get Up” thing rolls pretty deep. Because it’s about so much more than refraining from hitting that snooze button in the A.M. It’s about getting up in life. It’s about ownership. And responsibility. And other adult grown-up stuffs that are just downright scary. It’s a track about not sleeping on life, and pursuing opportunities when they are presented to you. So. speaking of not sleeping on stuff: make sure to check the track below and head over here to cop a download of J(N)AMES.
