Award-winning Philly Moves to release crowdfunded album, Olga [News]
Toronto, ON – If you’re familiar with Ottawa rap group Philly Moves and want to show your support, we know the perfect way! Back in April, Tragic and Rockwell, now based in Toronto, launched a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo to fund their new album, Olga.
The project has already been recorded, but the group is looking for support to get Olga into people’s hands. The last project won the guys a Toronto Independent Music Award so you know the money is going towards something that’ll make an impact on the scene.
The campaign goal ($2000) has already been reached, but there’s still a couple of weeks left to donate. The group stated that they were looking to raise about $4000, and they hoped that half of the amount would come from the crowdfunding campaign. With your help, they might be able to reach their entire goal through Indiegogo!
A $100 donation will get you a pre-order of Olga on vinyl, a Philly Moves t-shirt and a mention of your name in the album art’s “Crowdfunded by” section. You can also donate other amounts for other types of perks You can even get Tragic to tat your name on him for a low price of $1000 – a must have for any Philly Moves fan. Don’t sleep!.
