Iggy Azalea hits the Commodore Ballroom (Live) [Review]
Vancouver, BC – The hottest female in hip-hop right now, Australia’s own Iggy Azalea hit the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver on The New Classic Tour this past week. Not only is she a super-babe with amazing energy and stage presence, there’s a reason she made XXL’s Freshman list in 2012. The girl can really spit, and the proof? A sold-out crowd of super stoked Azaleans.
Hustle Gang’s first lady put the Commodore crowd into a sweaty frenzy of crop tops and booty shorts but all eyes were on Miss Azalea and her four babely back-up dancers. Dropping crowd favourites like “Work”, “Fancy” and “Change Your Life” Iggy got booties shaking but none compared to the shaking that was happening on-stage – damn though, baby got back!
The on-stage stripper pole and red lightening was a nice touch but Iggy kept it classy and sassy while holding her own on the mic and working the crowd just right. Cuts from Glory pleased day-one fans and a single costume change had the blonde bombshell transition from a sassy tropical one piece to a flirty little number that showcased her best…assets.
An unforgettable show from this talented artist will have Vancouver craving just a little more Iggy for weeks to come. Check the full photo gallery by Jamie Sands below.
