Nightshift Entertainment & Pearl Entertainment present Dizzy Wright in Edmonton [News]

Edmonton, ABOriginally published May 29, 2014 – Our friends over at Nightshift Entertainment and Pearl Entertainment just announced that they are bringing Funk Volume’s own Dizzy Wright to Encore at WEM (8882 170 St. NW) on July 23. This is just one of the many monster hip-hop shows going down in the YEG this summer. We’re so geeked on it. Remember how Dizzy made the 2013 freshman class via the “Peoples Choice” vote? And then dropped his latest State of Mind project back in April? And on top of all that, Hopsin’s indie Funk Volume label is blowing up on a whole other level. What I’m getting at here- is that you probably don’t want to miss out on this show.

Doors open at 9 p.m. Opening support for the evening will be provided by some of our favourite local cats including Doom Squad, Brothers Grim, K-Riz, Mitchell Lawler & Conch, Chubby C & Domino, and Parallel, with music from DJ Grizz throughout the night. First batch of general admission tickets are $20, and the second batch of tickets are $25. Tickets go on sale via Zoobis tomorrow, and will be available for purchase at ticket vendors on Monday. So cop those tickets. And roll through “Solo Dolo.” Or bring your homies. Or whatever you want. Just make sure you’re there. Peep the official event flyer after the jump. And head on over the the event’s Facebook page for more information. See you all at the show.
