Wiz Khalifa – KK ft. Project Pat and Juicy J [Audio]

Pittsburgh, PA – On Jun. 24, the Taylor Gang king-pin, Wiz Khalifa, dropped (potentially) the best advertising jingle ever. The Wizzleman hit us with his latest Jim Jonsin-produced single called “KK” (featuring Project Pat and Juicy J).

For the record: “KK” stands for Wiz’s own personal strain of marijuana (Khalifa Kush) which he receives for free (yes, he gets FREE weed) via sponsorship from The Cookie Company. This was revealed during an interview Wiz had on “Chelsea Lately” in April. I was going to post the interview up for y’all to see, but it has not-so-surprisingly been taken off YouTube. Ugh. So cop a listen to the joint below, and keep it locked on Wiz’s forthcoming Blacc Hollywood album; coming at you later on this year.

So is it just me – or does Juicy J sound kind of salty on here? “I smoke so much KK/ They should’ve called it Juicy J.” Like, you mad, braaa? You mad because you don’t get your weed paid for by The Cookie Company? Oh well. Maybe this is his cry for help; maybe he’s using his features on this track to get his foot in the door. Good luck, Juicy! I hope you get your own JJ strain, soon.

Real talk, though: this KK business has some serious potential. Cats at Khalifa shows would go nuts if they could cop some KK at the merch booth. That’s the ish that’ll sell on eBay (just kidding; don’t buy drugs on eBay, kids). Wiz needs to get a marketing team on this. They can design a fancy pantsy logo, and make some neat packaging, and – BAM – Khalifa Kush saturates the weed market.
