Shome – Kill Bill ft. DillanPonders [Video]

New Orleans, LA – Earlier on this month, we hit you with the audio for Shome and DillanPonders‘ collaborative record entitled “Kill Bill.” Now we’re hitting you with the visuals to accompany the track.

This video (directed by SwitchMedia) takes us to the streets with Shome and DP as they verse over top of this eerie Kill Bill-sampled track (produced by SMMG’s own Tay Lewis). Check it after the jump.

Shome – Kill Bill ft. DillanPonders [Video] -

I feel like “Kill Bill/ Trill Bill” would have made for a solid name for this record. Because it’s two-part in nature. First, Shome hits us with hungry MC bars of slaughter-status. And then Dillan takes us into his wavy drug king reign. Shome is the “kill” and DP is the “trill.”

Actually, if you think about it, the track’s format is actually set up like the actual Kill Bill series; the first film was non-stop action, and the second one just f**ked with your mind. Shome’s bars are Kill Bill: Vol. 1. DP’s verse is Kill Bill: Vol. 2. Deep, right? This track will appear on Shome’s forthcoming ॐ Namaste ॐ album which is due out later in August. So keep it locked. And shout-out to DillanPonders for rocking that hair-do. Uma Thurman would approve.
