Tyler, The Creator talks about interracial dating on the way to Pemberton [News]

Pemberton, BC – On Jul. 18, Tyler, The Creator hit us with a deep heartfelt PSA about the importance of interracial dating during Pemberton Music Festival 2014.

HipHopCanada’s own @IHeartTART and @saroshrizvi hopped on to the shuttle bus to head on over to the festival grounds for Pemberton. We were staying in the Whistler area and commuting to the festival via shuttle bus. So just as our bus was about to leave, the Odd Future crew hijacked our bus. That’s right – Tyler and his boys came on board to head on over to Pemberton with us. HOLY DIGGITY, GUYS! WE RODE THE BUS WITH TYLER, THE CREATOR!

But it was so much more than that. Tyler and Jasper Dolphin jumped at the opportunity to act as tour guides for all of us Whistler commuters. Hilarious. Because some people on the bus evidently had no idea who Tyler even was. Tee-hee. But it was all ish and giggles. Jasper wrote a love song about wanting to braid the bus driver’s hair. They told us that I Am Legend was filmed in Whistler (it wasn’t – for the record). And best of all, Tyler took the time to shout-out one particular interracial couple at the front of the bus. Spoiler alert: Tyler is all for interracial dating. So get at him, ladies. Check Tyler’s ode to lovin’ after the jump.
