D-Sisive – Jonah Hill [Audio] #SOTD

Toronto, ON – If they ever make a film about the life of D-Sisive, look for Jonah Hill to play the lead. At least, that’s how D-Sisive would have it. Well in this new song, this self-proclaimed “overweight dreamer from Toronto” is either flat out threatening the Hollywood actor – with visions of him in a casket – or assigning him as the lead role in the final scenes of his own biopic. Likely the latter. It’s a powerful song produced by Cam Bluff and mixed by longtime D-Siggy collaborator, Muneshine. Best of all, it perfectly captures the personality of D as he writes off the last verse altogether – “Fuck that verse” – and proceeds to philosophize about what a pair of kids cracking jokes about his classic Ewings might mean in a metaphorical sense. Almost to say, “Am I too old for this shit?” …but the heat he’s releasing suggests he’s still got years left in him.

The Great Mr. Nobody is the next project to check for, coming out September 16. And if you’re in Toronto on September 19, hit up the Rancho Relaxo for the release party and a special performance.

“Jonah Hill” is HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day. Help us tweet this out to @JonahHill so he hears it. Make sure follow D-Sisive on Twitter too @DerekChristoff.
