K-Riz – Paradise ft. Habe (Prod. LordQuest) [Video]

Edmonton, AB – YEG’s own K-Riz recently dropped new visuals for the track “Paradise” (featuring R&B singer, Habe). This is the first single off K’s mixtape entitled The Low, and it is a summer anthem of supreme YEG-reppin’ status.

This is also a really solid summer lovin’ joint. K-Riz channels his inner-Common by getting smooth and suave with the ladies (his particular love interest in this video is played by soul-singer Sydney Love). The video was directed, filmed and edited by Cashew LOA. Peep the video after the jump.

K Riz - Paradise [Video] -

You’ll catch a peep at the paradise that is downtown Edmonton, as well as Alberta’s Legislative grounds, and the newly lit-up High Level Bridge. Don’t laugh, people. E-Town is a total paradise. As some of you know – I spent the greater part of this last year living in Edmonton. And I fell in love with the city. Downtown Edmonton at night – especially –  is one of my favourite things. Ever.

And to make things even more next-level – this joint was produced by LordQuest. LordQuest is one of the freshest Canadian producers on the scene right now. He’s done work with ScHoolboy Q, Dom Kennedy and a shwackload of other well-known (as well as up-and-coming) rap cats. LQ beats are slick; one-part old-school influence, one-part bouncing beat that’ll get you shaking, and one-part soulful sampled vocals. That’s the formula. And it gets me every time.
