T.Y. – 91 to Infinity [Audio]

Hamilton, ON – Hamilton-based MC T.Y. is back from his brief hiatus and gearing up to hit us with a new project release. We recently featured T.Y.’s 500 Autumn Nights: Side B here on HipHopCanada and y’all seemed to really like it. In fact, a lot of other cats liked it too. T-Dot’s Chef Byer (who produced OB O’Brien’s “Steve Nash”) copped a listen to the project and decided he wanted to executive produce T.Y.’s forthcoming project.

So to get the hype stirring, T.Y. is dropping a series of remixed classic hip-hop tunes for our listening pleasure. Every single Tuesday – it’s called #TYTuesday, by the way. And we’re going to debut these tracks for you here on HHC.

This week T.Y. kicks off the series with a new wave update on Souls Of Mischief’s classic “93 Til Infinity.” Everyone and their grandmothers have done spin-offs on this track. But T.Y. is a fresh face on the scene. Think of him as Canada’s answer to Joey Bada$$ and the Pro Era crew. He’s got the K.I.N.G.S. (Knowledge is Need for Great Success) backing him up. He’s young and on the come-up. He’s hungry. And he delivers. Check the track below.

About: Yours Truly, T.Y.

After a brief hiatus following “Brooklyn Way” and “Let Me Ask You” earlier this year in March premiered on The Come Up Show. Fans have been patiently awaiting the move and the anticipation couldn’t be any higher. Humble as ever, T.Y. has been gearing up to take things to new heights with his new project – which remains untitled at the moment. It’s one that will touch people emotionally, he is a man of the people, and the people stand in his corner willing to go to extreme lengths to support him in any plight he chooses to embark on.
