Bronze Age – Cola Wars [Audio]

Edmonton, AB – Edmonton MC-producer Bronze Age just hit us with his latest single titled “Cola Wars.” This track is the lead single off Bronze’s forthcoming Bronze Age EP (due out at the end of October).

Bronze digs from all influences on the track’s production. We’ve got the minimalistic piano that kicks it off. A female voiceover starts by questioning Bronze as to what he’s thinking about. He replies: “Time.” And that leads us into the music. As the song progresses, we get into some pretty heavy synth, and a touch of boom-bap. Check it below.

Bronze is one of those dudes who really emphasizes his rhymes. So when you listen to the bars (there are 56 of them on this joint – by the way), you realize that Bronze is developing some solid wordplay. When he says ish like, “Got your inner circle/ Maybe lookin’ to outsource,” or “Expand your infiltration/ Give them something to shrink from,” it warrants a second listen. He’s got vocabulary for days.
