The Bass6 – Lucid Dreams Vol. 14 [Mixtape]

Toronto, ON – One week ago, SmashMouth Music Group’s super-producer duo – The Bass6 – launched the fourteenth installation of their weekly Lucid Dreams series.

These guys come correct every time. And they always make sure to show love to their fellow SMMG crew mates. So check for the SmashMouth tuneage by DillanPonders, TallBoy and MMac. Peep the mix below.

It all starts off with some of the most obnoxious trap around. It hits hard and takes you from 0 to 100 real quick. Then the mix gets smooth and suave at the midway mark. This mix actually uses a Gucci Mane joint to slow it down.

I mean – I don’t really peg Gucci as a softy or anything. But “Take My Life” slows down and has that melodic hook thing going for it. It’s kind of like a Future song; it’s still trappy. But it’s between-the-sheets trappy. Not turning-up-in-the-club trappy.

This mix also shows a lot of love to four particular artists: DillanPonders, the late Speaker Knockerz, Young Jeezy, and sir Gucci Mane. Each MC makes two appearances on this mix. Cute.
