ShaqIsDope – Divine Elevation (Prod. Kelly Portis) [Audio]

Toronto, ONShaqIsDope just hit us with his latest single release titled “Divine Elevation” (produced by Kelly Portis). Shaq is gearing up to drop his forthcoming Black Frames mixtape. So he’s getting back on his grind and delivering the goods.

This track is the ultimate ode to the music – and it carries a universal message for all of us music junkies. Here’s the deal: we’re all seeking divine elevation. We may not use that exact term because it sounds a little fancy-pantsy. But at the end of the day, we want happiness; we want to be content with ourselves and we want to live a life of fullness. And for some reason, we chase the money in hopes of finding happiness. But we’ve got it all wrong: “This is all that you need/ This is music for the soul/ Inspiration from the keys.”

Shaq believes that happiness can be found within the music. So what does that all mean? It means that regardless of whether you’re an artist honing your craft, or a listener digging for new tunes, you can find yourself in the music. All you need to do is listen: “Keep shootin’/ We all need improvement/ You’re never too old to learn/ So you’ll forever remain a student.”
