Stankowski – I’m Gone ft. Transit [Audio]

Calgary, AB – Calgary-based MC Stankowski just released a new collabo track with Transit titled “I’m Gone.” Stankowski is one of the rookie cats on the scene in Calgary. But he’s getting ready to release his debut mixtape. And getting a feature from a seasoned YYC vet like Transit (who just wrapped a month-long American tour) is a serious good look on Stan.

“I’m Gone” is a commentary on broken relationships and letting go. The track features some seriously wavy production, courtesy of Ryan Brammeier. Stan is still on the come-up, so his flow is still developing. Dude’s still in his teens, though. Which I have mad respect for. And even though he’s still working on his delivery, he’s starting to get a feel for his rhyme schemes. And as he closes the chapter on soured relationships, he opens the door on a new way of being; and a new standing in the rap game. Keep tabs on this one. And keep it locked on the mixtape drop.
