TassNata – Sherbert ft. JD Era [Audio]

Vernon, BCTassNata recently teamed up with JD Era to bring the East Coast and West Coast together for this new joint titled “Sherbert.” The two MCs get in over top of a super dope Pops beat. Seriously. This beat is sweet. I mean that in more ways than one. You’ll notice several samplings from other sweet dessert-themed hip-hop anthems including Method Man’s hook off Raekwon’s “Ice Cream” and Jay’s cake line from “Pound Cake.”

This track features a dope little verse from JD Era. And he rolls with the whole dessert theme. Dude’s got his girl butt-naked licking sherbet off his body. Which will inevitably lead to a sticky situation. And – of course – he throws in that great line about his main squeeze making his “brain freeze.”

And through it all, you’ll notice that TassNata has a flow of supreme status. Tass is one hungry rap cat: “Red light red light/ Don’t know what it means/ Red light red light/ All I see is green.” Tass is looking for his sherbet fix. More specifically, he’s hankering for some green sherbet. Dolla dolla bill, y’all!

But seriously. Keep your ear on Tass’ flow. On the last verse, he drops this line where he’s like, “I’m ‘a go ahead/ And switch up the flow again.” And then he switches and goes off at like 549,904,430 beats per minute in the middle of the verse. So ill.

As TassNata gears up to launch his forthcoming album, he’ll be hitting us with a ton of new videos and singles. So keep watching. There’s more coming.
